Mr. Dwyer’s 5th Class have been reading Michael Smith’s Tom Crean – Ice Man. They have learned so much about polar explorations from reading this book. Michael Smith was very kind and agreed to have a Zoom call with the class. He answered all of the pupils questions and gave an insight into what inspired him to be an author. It was a great way to celebrate World Book Day.
