On the third of October, our two sixth classes went on an expedition through the ruins of the Gunpowder Mills. The Gunpowder mills are situated in the Regional Park, where nature and history are intertwined. We saw several ruins including the new magazine, dusting house, coal store, refineries, workshops and the charcoal mill. We are privileged to have such a historic site in the vicinity of our school. At the end of the day, we returned to school… everyone enjoyed our trip to the park.
