The Scoil Barra School Choir certainly brought much cheer and happiness to the local Community this evening with their beautiful carol singing at the official ceremony to turn on Ballincollig’s Christmas Tree and Street Lights 2014! They launched our countdown to Christmas in style! Their harmonious renditions of some old classics, firm favourites and new tunes on the block added to the special Christmassy feel of the evening and put us firmly in the right frame of mind as we look forward to December 25th with much anticipation! Congratulations to all 60 members of the choir on their fabulous performance and to their teachers and choir mentors, Kara Woods, Maria Healy and Keely Sheehan!
