This week Sean and Katlyn from the National Ambulance Service came to our school to teach us about being a paramedic. They showed us the equipment they use in an ambulance, how to check your heart rate and how to apply bandages. They told us what to do if there is ever an emergency and we need to call for an ambulance. It was very interesting and the pupils got the chance to do some role play scenarios. We loved hearing about how paramedics help the community!
