Please find below a letter sent to parents via email from Deirdre Shanley, Assistant Secretary to the Department of Education. This letter is about the availability of antigen testing for pupils in a pod with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
This letter stresses that antigen test are only suitable for those without symptoms.
Any pupil with symptoms should stay and home and organise a PCR test for COVID-19.
