In the last few weeks, Ms. Lehane’s First Class have been sampling different foods. Firstly, we enjoyed a breakfast-morning together. A mixture of coco-pops and rice-crispies proved to be the winner of the day! Also, we continued to experience ‘Around the World Wenesday’. This involved pupils getting a chance to present information and food from countries, that are linked to their family. Yesterday, we focused on Ireland. ‘Traditional’ Irish fair, such as, cheese and onion crisps, soda bread, raspberries and sparkling water were sampled. When we spoke about Australia, poor ole vegemite didn’t prove to be quite as popular! Enjoy the many ‘bar-bees’ over the Summer everyone!
