The second class pupils in Scoil Barra and Our Lady of Good Counsel schools celebrated their First Communion on Saturday the 11th of May 2019. Thanks to Father Cian O’ Sullivan for celebrating the mass with us. The pupils were very involved in the ceremony and did lots of jobs on the day including prayers, singing and reading. Ms. O’ Sullivan, Mr. O’ Sullivan and Ms. O’ Regan accompanied the singing beautifully. A huge ‘thank you’ to the teachers Ms. Murphy, Ms. Collins, Ms. Lande and Ms. Marrinan, as well as the special needs assistants Mary and Louise for preparing the pupils so wonderfully well for their special day.
