Ms. O’Regan’s 6th Class learned about reflection of light in a recent science workshop organised by Junior Achievement Ireland. The pupils constructed their own periscope to observe the law of reflection at work. They tested their periscopes by crouching under the desks to view the workshop facilitator on the interactive whiteboard. They were able to describe the facilitator’s actions as their periscopes enabled them to view over their desks.
