Today ,Tuesday the 8th of February 2022 is Safer Internet Day. In its 19th year with a theme of “Together for a better internet” actions will take place right across the globe calling upon us all to join together to make the internet a safer and better place for all, and especially for children and young people.
In Scoil Barra our student council have worked very hard to spread the message “Be Kind Online!” , not just today but every day when we we connect with others over social media, online gaming , messaging apps or however you use the internet.
To remind us that it is important to “Be Kind Online!” and to ensure we all can help create a Safer Internet the Student Council ran a ‘Design a Poster’ competition for 5th and 6th classes. The posters ,a sample of which are below,promote the message of #bekindonline.
