It felt like summer had finally come! Magnificent blue skies, glorious sunshine, an ice-cream cone and a fantastic entertaining match! Scoil Barra fifth class students were delighted to be guests of honour at a most exciting soccer tournament final hosted by Our Lady of Good Counsel on Thursday last. Pupils from St. Paul’s from Montenotte provided the formidable opposition and both teams served up a high quality game and some sizzling goals. Congratulations to both teams on their magnificent performances and to the Scoil Barra fans for their words of encouaragement and beautiful rendition of ‘Ol Ole Ole’…It was like the good old days with Jack at the helm!
